The Golden Teddy Awards, sponsored annually by Teddy Bear Review magazine since 1986, rewards and encourages excellence in conception, design and execution of teddy bears and soft-sculpture animals. Photos of all the entries are reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges, who evaluate each submission on overall aesthetic appeal, excellence in concept, design and execution, and quality of material and workmanship; the highest-scoring creations in each category are selected as the nominees for the Golden Teddy Awards. Teddy Bear Review readers then select their favorite nominee in each category and their votes are tallied to determine the category winners, who are then announced at the annual Doll & Teddy Bear EXPO and featured in the December issue of Teddy Bear Review.

The 2010 Golden Teddy Awards are no longer accepting entries. Nominees will be announced in the August issue of Teddy Bear Review (mailing June 2, 2010), with the winners announced in the December issue (mailing September 21, 2010). We will begin to accept entries for the 2011 Awards at the end of 2010. Thank you for supporting the teddy bear industry!
